has got to be the most unconventional and unusual parties I've went for to date.
at first the weather was just fine, with just a hint of black clouds.
but the weather changed at 7+ (probably because me and Queenie were warbling tunes and karaokeing away).
so we had to move our table and our food from the pool to a place near the stairs. well, basically at a stairwell ^^
in the lift :: Leva
Yappoh in focus
but before that..
I was happily paparazzing away each time someone arrived, but the pics were taken with Lai Kee's nikon so I don't have it with me T.T
speaking of arrivals, I had to go and wait for Hoyan for a LONG time ALONE.
pretty scary it was, because there were lotsa ppl ..well, guys actually, walking pass me, staring at me all the time. call me paranoid, but those people do look suspicious.
I don't trust security guards.
well, enuf of the scariness..
but afta everyone arrived, we waded in the pool and set up the table.
took pics, check. sakai-ed, check. ss-ed, check.
people watching us from above at their apartments and whistling at us at some times, check.
yah..some funny guy was watching us scarily from above..=='
and then suddenly, a little boy appeared and at first, just stood and stared at us.
then he played with water by the poolside.
then we realised he wasn't going home so soon.
so Leva and Choo talked to him and asked him where's his home and a little of his background.
he pointed in the direction but refused to go home.
so for the entire length of our party down there at the stairwell, the little boy was there with us. (by then we shifted from the pool to the stairwell). we asked him more questions and by his answers, we were beginning to suspect he wasn't wanted at home.
I mean, who leaves their kid to play around alone until 9?
So we offered him food and talked to him more and took care of him for that short while.
and we found out he was waiting for his brother who was having tuition, somewhere.
But still, it wasn't safe for a little boy to hang around there in the lonesome-filled with carpark. It was a good thing we were there. Choo's mom couldn't find the boy's parents.. Then a few minutes later, the boy wanted to go home and then he went home all by himself . He suddenly went off.
the whole incident made us all think of how fortunate we were having parents who DO care.
i love you
you love me
we are happy family
hehe..just wanted to do that.
some of us were so-called judi-ing..actually..just cho tai ti onila..haha..
then we went back up and cut cake and eat cake {Queen's bday} and she opened her presents
singing Happy Birthday
behold! the Queen is ss-ing with her presents
yeng shot rite^^
and
we ate melted ice-cream..yes..melted ice cream.haha..that I brought
too bad Lai Kee's fridge didn't work..^^
hehe..good day
and yes..I was tired that day form sending ppl down and up, to the guardhouse..^^
